How to turn on emergency alert in your phone?

  • If your phone’s emergency alert setting is turned off, you can enable it manually.
  • If you have an iPhone, go to the settings menu, then notifications, and then turn on Government Alerts.
  • In Android phones, this setting can also be turned on or off. To do so, go to the phone’s settings and then select Safety and Emergency. Turn on the Emergency SOS alerts toggle from here.
