In the midst of reports that 18% GST is being levied on Gangajal, the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs has issued a clarification indicating that no GST is levied on Gangajal or other puja goods.
According to CBIC’s most recent tweet, such puja goods are free from GST.
